How to start
Congratulations on understanding the need for safety and security in your church. Often we do not know where to start and especially this topic can be overwhelming. We are here to help you by starting with a security assessment that will help us see where you are at. Whether you need someone to help with choosing your team, active shooter training, verbal deescalation, concealed carry, enhanced concealed carry, advanced tactics, hand to hand self-defense, and other topics we can help facilitate that for you. We do not just tell you what to do, we show you! There is a form at the bottom of this page or you can call us 870-761-5043.
Logan Lee is a self-defense expert with over 20 years of experience. He trains hundreds of people on a monthly basis in martial arts training and firearm training and can help make confusing material easy to understand and can guide you through the training and can scale it to your church no matter the size or budget.
Mr. Lee travels across the country and gets the training that you need and stays up to date on all aspects that pertain to you.
We can teach you the systems you need to implement to get your security ministry going and can follow up to continue the training.
We will have training sessions about every 6 weeks or so at Southside Community Church in Paragould and will be open to everyone! We will be working on topics such as security assessments, self-defense training for unruly and combative visitors, active shooter, concealed carry, enhanced concealed carry, verbal de-escalation, security team training, sexual predator, natural disasters, arson, robbery, embezzlement, and a lot of other topics. We will help facilitate these training sessions and help partner you up with other local churches and make training not only affordable, but scale able for any size church.
is it biblical
Here are just a few verses that have to deal with the church and security:
Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was gatekeeper at the entrance of the tent of meeting. All these, who were chosen as gatekeepers at the thresholds, were 212. They were enrolled by genealogies in their villages. David and Samuel the seer established them in their office of trust. So they and their sons were in charge of the gates of the house of the Lord, that is, the house of the tent, as guards. The gatekeepers were on the four sides, east, west, north, and south.
When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are safe;
Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood. I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them.
In Judah it was said, “The strength of those who bear the burdens is failing. There is too much rubble. By ourselves we will not be able to rebuild the wall.” And our enemies said, “They will not know or see till we come among them and kill them and stop the work.” At that time the Jews who lived near them came from all directions and said to us ten times, “You must return to us.” So in the lowest parts of the space behind the wall, in open places, I stationed the people by their clans, with their swords, their spears, and their bows. And I looked and arose and said to the nobles and to the officials and to the rest of the people, “Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.” ...
He said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one.
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer.
